TRANSPORT AND X-RAY SYSTEM FOR TISSUE SAMPLES TO DETERMINE FREE RESECTION MARGINS

The tissue transport and X-ray system KliniTray™ is an innovative system for tumor fixation and is used for the transport, examination and preparation of tumor tissue that requires an intra- and/or post-operative description of the free resection margin accurate to the millimeter. It consists of a light plastic tray with fixed orientation markers and coordinate frames that can be seen in the x-ray image. These allow the preparation to be related to the patient's body from the surgeon's perspective.

With the help of KliniTray™, the tissue can be safely transported in a given three-dimensional spatial orientation and examined both radiologically and sonographically. The cutting of the material necessary for the histological examination is carried out directly on the plate with the aid of X-ray and/or sonography images.

For use in breast cancer surgery, KliniTray™ is equipped with the orientation markers "cranial", "caudal", "lateral" and "medial". With additional markers "L", for the page number "left", or "R", for the page number "right", the withdrawal side is determined. The localization of the findings can be marked on the breast diagram with the radiopaque coordinate frame of the plate.

KliniTray™ Mini

Transport and X-ray system for small tissue samples

The tissue transport and X-ray system KliniTray™ Mini is an innovative system for tumor fixation. It is used for the transport, examination and preparation of tumour tissue, which requires an intra- and/or post-operative description of the situation accurate to the millimetre. The system consists of a light plastic tray with fixed orientation markers that can be seen in the x-ray image, which allow the preparation to be related to the patient's body from the surgeon's perspective.

With the help of KliniTray™ Mini (especially for the ENT and eye area) the tissue can be safely transported in a given three-dimensional spatial orientation. Radiological as well as sonographic examinations can be performed. The cutting of the material necessary for the histological examination can be carried out directly on the plate with the aid of X-ray and/or sonography images.

For the application KliniTray™ Mini is equipped with the orientation markers "cranial" and "caudal". The location of the findings can be marked on the organ diagram of the plate.

KliniTray™ Extra small

For the best possible fixation of small tissue particles, especially during surgical removal of a cervical cone from the cervix (uteri).

Suitable for both flat and pointed conisations. Furthermore, it can also be used for stretching basaliomas and malignant melanomas.

By tensioning the tissue sample, rolling up of the tissue edges is prevented. This ensures good further processing of the histological preparation.

In addition, a dial applied to the plate provides optimal orientation of the fabric's position. This enables an exact assignment of the resection margins, for example, in portio cones, basaliomas or malignant melanomas. The two supplied needles fix the fabric perfectly to the plate.

Of course, our new KliniTray™ Extra small is also radiolucent and the orientation markers are visible in the radiological image.
